Ever since planning my first wedding from top to bottom, I knew this was exactly where I was meant to be. There’s something extraordinary about walking beside a couple from the moment they say “yes” to the day they finally say “I do.” For me, wedding planning isn’t just about logistics or design — it’s about relationships, emotion, and crafting moments that linger long after the last dance.
Every wedding I plan is unique, whether it’s an intimate garden ceremony, a luxurious ballroom celebration, or a romantic estate wedding. My goal is to create a day that feels personal, intentional, and unforgettable — a celebration of love that reflects each couple’s story.
More Than a Wedding Planner
I never wanted to be just a wedding planner. I wanted to be the person my couples wanted to FaceTime when they said yes to the dress, the one they looked forward to seeing for our monthly check-ins, and the friend they could rely on during moments of stress. Over time, these relationships became the most meaningful part of what I do.
Being part of your wedding journey — from the excitement of engagement to the final sparkler send-off — allows me to witness the most intimate and joyful moments of your love story. It’s those tear-filled hugs, heartfelt speeches, and genuine gratitude at the end of the night that make my work so fulfilling. Knowing that my couples can fully relax and enjoy their day while I handle every detail fills me with purpose and joy.
Where Timeless Design Meets Emotion
My design aesthetic is timeless and creative — a perfect balance between romance and originality. I love when couples come to me with ideas, and together we bring them to life one Pinterest board at a time. From selecting the ideal floral arrangements to curating elegant décor, every detail is carefully planned to create a wedding that feels both beautiful and meaningful.
When guests walk into a wedding I’ve designed, I want them to feel romance in the air — to experience a story unfolding rather than simply observing decorations. Every centerpiece, every candle, every table setting contributes to an immersive experience that speaks to the couple’s personality and love story.
People often tell me I have a calm presence, that I do everything with a smile. And it’s true — whether I’m fixing a boutonniere, adjusting a veil, or moving a table, I do it with joy because I genuinely love what I do. When I planned my first wedding, I knew why people say "it doesn't feel like a job if you love what you do". I genuinely never thought I would experience that and I am forever grateful. I believe that energy sets the tone for the day, and it’s something every couple can feel as soon as they step into their wedding space.
My Favorite Wedding Moments
The first look will always have my heart. There’s magic in watching a couple’s nerves melt away the moment they see each other — a raw, emotional moment that reminds me why I fell in love with wedding planning.
Beyond that, my favorite part of the job is simply being a supportive presence. I hope my couples remember that I wasn’t just their wedding planner — I was their friend, someone who reassured them when decisions felt overwhelming and celebrated with them every step of the way.
Whether it’s a small intimate ceremony or a grand celebration, I cherish being part of the moments that make your wedding day uniquely yours.
A Peek Into My World
When I’m not at a wedding or designing timelines, you’ll probably find me cozying up on the couch with my two ginger cats, Rez and Blaize, scrolling Instagram for the latest wedding trends or rewatching Gossip Girl for the millionth time. I love diving into a good mystery romance novel, getting lost in stories the same way I do with the love stories I help bring to life.
My go-to's outside of planning? TJMaxx treasure hunts, filling my Amazon cart with things I swear I need, and sneaking in a late-night burst of productivity — if you get an email from me at midnight, that’s just when my creativity is at its peak. I adore fashion and will always take an excuse to dress up, but at heart, I’m a total homebody.
Most mornings, you’ll find me easing into the day with a workout, worship music, and my Bible — the rhythm that keeps me grounded during busy wedding seasons. And my Starbucks order? Always a strawberry acai refresher with light lemonade, extra base, and no berries… unless the night before a wedding kept me up, in which case a caramel latte makes a cameo (as long as it doesn’t taste like coffee).
Garden romance weddings are my biggest inspiration — overflowing florals, soft candlelight, and love stories that feel dreamy yet grounded. Every detail, from décor to timelines, is thoughtfully curated to create a day that feels luxurious, romantic, and timeless.
Why Miss Matrimony
I created Miss Matrimony because I wanted to be the wedding girl people think of when they start dreaming about their day — a trusted friend, creative partner, and storyteller who curates and designs love stories that feel intentional, unique, and unforgettable.
The word matrimony is meaningful to me — it represents a promise rooted in love, faith, and devotion, like the timeless truth in 1 Corinthians 13:4–7:
“Love is patient, love is kind… It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.”
Miss Matrimony is my way of celebrating that kind of love. Every wedding I plan is a reflection of the couple’s story, their values, and the love they share — and my goal is to make that story feel elevated, effortless, and unforgettable.
My Advice to Couples
If I could tell every couple one thing before they start planning, it would be this: it’s your day. Don’t plan it for your guests, your family, or tradition. Plan it for you. Choose the details, experiences, and moments that make your hearts happiest — the ones that make your wedding day feel authentically yours.
Because at the end of the day, your wedding will be one of the most — if not the most — special days of your life.
If you’re dreaming of a wedding that feels romantic, intentional, and completely you, I’d love to connect.
XOXO
